You know what the biggest problem with buying a 91 Galant VR-4 as a daily driver is? It turns into a project car. This is considerably more annoying when you already
have a project car.
As of late, this site has not been updated; evidenced by the 6 month main page update gap. Let's bring you all up to speed real quick. . .shall we?
*Chris sold his GSX and bought a jeep grand cherokee, lifted the truck, murdered it out, and now drives it through the mud of indiana PA.
*Buck bought a jeep Wrangler and a lift kit. The kit is not yet installed, no new wheels/tires are on order, and the eclipse is not yet sold.
*Tim put a race motor in the talon with a 60-1 trim turbo, made it 700 miles into the break in period, and destroyed a transmission (technically it's not destroyed yet, but it makes horrible noises).
Naturally the only reasonable course of action would be to buy a 1991 Galant VR-4. So far, he's fixed numerous boost leaks, replaced the radiator, and installed a proper boost controller. The only thing
keeping the wastegate closed was the 'T' fitting between the intake system and the wastegate actuator that was bleeding off all of the boost and causing 20psi+ boost creep.
In addition, I've come to the conclusion that I don't really like the layout of the site right now, and have all but abandoned this format. Development is now underway for a new layout, and
an actual CMS with which to update said new layout. Keep tuned I guess.
The only two buttons up top that work are the video button, and the home button. Since you're already where the home button takes you, why not give that video button a shot
and see what you can find (hint: it's videos).
The main site isn't going to be updated for a while, since the whole update system isn't written yet, and I have other things on my mind right now. The only updates are going
to be the ones on the talon project page. . .which can be viewed
here.
